![]() ![]() There were websites out there that were specifically designated for sharing nudes as revenge back then and this one site, I forget what it was called, you had to "prove" you were the person in the pictures that were illegally posted in order to get them removed. I finally left him for good and he saw it as this huge betrayal and put my nude modeling photos and some videos he'd taken of us while I was intoxicated on one of those sites. When I was 19 I broke up with an ex who cheated on me numerous times and tormented me to the point where I developed an eating disorder and tried to unalive myself twice. In short, it is very likely she will see very little if anything (nowhere close to the $1.2B) but he will likely be in debt to her for the rest of his life, and that can also cause a lot of other issues. u/trickmind while the judges and courts along with prosecutors have very little power to make a defendant pay, the good news is if the defendant came into money via a judgment on their behalf, or most types of major lottery winnings, many times inheritances, or proceeds of the selling of property be it a car, a house, a boat or pretty much anything else can have a lien placed upon it and will need to be paid to convert the sale. I also believe it meets the clause of "cause of action based upon willful and malicious actions" to say the least. In my professional opinion of not a lawyer, unless someone hires me to play one on TV or a really small part of a movie I believe he will be very unlikely to get this judgment discharged. Unlike most judgments against a defendant, punitive damages awards are not dischargeable in bankruptcy so long as the relevant cause of action was based upon willful and malicious actions.
